Clean, sunny and high-tech

Together with my best friend I went to South Korea in february 2012. We stayed there for two weeks. South Korea was very different from what I had in mind. It was cold, clean, sunny and high-tech.

We stayed in Seoul most of the time, but made a trip to Gyeongju and Busan as well.

It is a crowded country with enormous living blocks everywhere. Art in public places was hard to find and we found that the lack of esthetic thinking made the country quite ugly, but functional and efficient.

As a vegetarian it was hard to find good restaurants. I was happy to have an app on the iPhone with Korean language who could explain that I don´t eat meat . Most Koreans we met didn't speak english.
